The home page is opened. I move to Fridhem and work with the exhibition,
presentation of myself and information about the project.
Possibility to register as a candidate for the model of the figurehead.
20 participants will be needed. If there are very many applying I will
take the liberty to choose 20 of them.
The oak for the sculpture is fell and put to dry.

Photo shoot with the candidates takes place during 4-7 days in week
36, on the roof of a high-rise building in Fridhem.
voting period September 1 - November 19, 2004

The home page is changed and complemented with photos and the stories
of the candidates. Posters and a banderole (140x200cm) with pictures
of the candidates, is hung up. Flyers are delivered to all homes in
Fridhem. The voting can be done on the home page, at the main and local
offices of Kabo, and at the library of Karlshamn.

December
2004
Complementing photography of the winner. I work on the sketch of the
figurehead model.
February
2005
The floor that looks like a boat deck, is built in Blekinge. The size
is 2200x2800mm. The material is oak. The floor is put on five beams
and later assembled on cement blocks.The floor will be slighty arched
in the middle to avoid water gathering there. The photos of the candidates
are printed (50x50) and framed to be put up as "doorkeepers"
for the entrances of the houses in Fridhem.
March
2005 - May 2008
The sculpting can begin. The figure head will be cut out of an oak log
from Bleking by sculptor Ulf Celén, Göteborg. The work continues
until summer.
May-June
2008
When the figurehead is finished it will be painted with tempera, a process
which will take a couple of months, including drying.

2008
Preparing casting and assembly work of the figurehead's placement in
Fridhem, including the floor and photographs.
September
2008
Opening.
A book about the project and its process will be published along with
the opening.
The
opening is moved.
Because of the moist in the oak, the opening is moved to September 2008.
